Release 2606.01·

Notification preferences, AI-assisted bug logging and a smarter backlog

Three substantial additions in this release, plus a round of polish across the app.

Notifications

Choose which events notify you, and where

Each user can now pick which events they are told about and through which channel. Approvals, assignments, mentions, pull request updates and deployments can each go in-app, to Microsoft Teams, by email, or nowhere.

  • A grid on your Profile: one row per event, one column per channel. Changes save as you toggle
  • Three channels, in any combination per event: in-app, a Teams message and email
  • The Teams row shows whether Konductro can reach you. Install the bot once and it is picked up automatically
  • Approvals and mentions are on by default; lower-signal events start off, so your inbox starts quiet
  • Email is on by default for new accounts. Existing users keep their settings

Workflow

Log a bug and Conductor writes the ticket

Log Bug on the backlog now opens an AI-assisted form. Describe what you were doing, what you expected and what happened, and Conductor turns it into a structured bug with reproduction steps, expected and actual behaviour, and a severity.

  • Conductor asks follow-up questions if the description is too thin to act on
  • You review and accept the draft before anything reaches the backlog
  • Existing bugs can be refined the same way: add context and Conductor rewrites the description without losing what was there
  • Developers can refine an assigned bug from their AI coding tool through the Konductro plugin
  • Bugs land in the project’s Bugs phase, ready to be pulled into a sprint

Developers need the latest Konductro plugin for bug refinement from their AI coding tool.

Planning

The backlog now shows the backlog

The default view shows only stories that have not started. Toggle In Progress, Done or Archived back in when you need them.

  • Four independent toggles: Backlog (on by default), In Progress, Done and Archived
  • A story shows as In Progress as soon as any of its tasks is in a sprint or being worked on
  • Search and filters apply to the counts on each toggle, so the numbers match what you see
  • Works the same for Scrum, Kanban and Konductro projects

Quality of life

Smaller things that should feel better

  • Architecture assignments appear in My Work alongside tickets and technical analysis tasks
  • The delivery board pipeline groups by sprint, then phase
  • Backlog story rows show the sprint their tasks are scheduled in
  • Phase pills in sprint planning show the right progress on first load
  • Pull request status follows the dev board more reliably, and Sync PR Status picks up declined and abandoned pull requests
